Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26/07/2026

This policy explains how National Honey Ltd (“we”, “us”) collects and uses your personal data when you use our website and buy our products. We are the data controller for the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Company number FILL_ME_companies_house_no. Registered/correspondence address: FILL_ME_registered_address.

1. Information we collect

  • Order & contact details you provide at checkout: name, email, phone, and delivery address.
  • Order history and any notes or messages you send us.
  • Payment is handled by Stripe — we receive confirmation of payment but never see or store your full card details.
  • Basic technical & usage data (e.g. cookies, IP address) to run and improve the site.

We do not require you to create an account — checkout is available as a guest.

2. How and why we use it

  • To process and deliver your order and provide customer support (to perform our contract with you).
  • To send order and dispatch confirmations (to perform our contract with you).
  • To meet our legal obligations, such as keeping records for tax and accounting.
  • To operate, secure and improve the website (our legitimate interests).
  • To send marketing only where you have asked us to — you can opt out at any time.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the providers that help us run the shop, under appropriate safeguards:

  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Resend — sending transactional emails.
  • Supabase and Vercel — hosting, database and file storage.
  • Delivery carriers (e.g. Royal Mail / courier) to fulfil your order.
  • Regulators or authorities where required by law.

4. International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

5. How long we keep it

We keep order and transaction records for as long as needed to fulfil your order and to meet legal obligations (HMRC generally requires financial records to be kept for six years). We then delete or anonymise your data.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email hello@nationalhoney.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the basket and checkout, and (with your consent) analytics/marketing cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details and how to manage them.
